Bhikku hears lends him a patient ear and listens to the young lad calmly, with a serene smile plastered on his face. As it seems, the young lad was sharing his problems, and looking for answers, but all along, he knew the solutions to all the issues that were bothering him. This is revealed when Bhikku further questions him about his problems and how those can be solved. Throughout the book, the author has infused some amazing life lessons which would be helpful to most readers. Life lessons, which if one implements religiously, can bring an immensely positive and powerful change in the individual.

The book is an insightful read for those who have lost the will to live and those who feel that they do not have the chance of winning in their life.

These second chances give everyone another chance to live and love, and to prove themselves that they are worthy. These second chances are what make most people successful, for very few lucky ones get success in their first attempts.

The author further reiterates that the flow of life should never be disturbed because of the problems one comes across. The one who gets distracted easily would never reach their goal in life. She shares some personal life experiences which make the book an interesting read, as the incidents are relatable and inspiring to read. It also brings about an easy camaraderie between the author and the reader.

To sum it up, the book is an insightful read, full of wisdom and motivation. It teaches the reader many lessons, a few of which are summarised below.

  • Everyone must have trust in people who are trustworthy and have proved it through actions.
  • Each individual should achieve success by following values and ethics.

Thus, by making use of some good ol’ storytelling techniques and using engaging and relatable topics, Turn the Tables imparts many life lessons through the simple story of Bhikku and the young lad.
