Having found peace in her life, Princess Amelia or Mia finally moves on with her regular life.

Slowly and steadily her life has started falling into place, as she is coming to terms with her new life dangling on a delicate balance between her princess lessons and her high school life.

Things are much better at home, as both Mia’s parents and her Grandmere have come to a sort of mid-point where they have stopped fighting and disagreeing with each other’s everything for good.

Peace at home is also getting reflected in Mia’s involvement in school as now she is much more focused at school and is trying hard to maintain her grades.

But rarely does fate allows you to function the way you want to. It always seems to have some plan or scheme of its own. The same situation also happens in Mia’s life when all of a sudden things seem to go haywire and life goes awry.

Just when Mia had it all figured out, life hurls an unusual challenge at her. The challenge presents itself when Mia discovers that her mom is pregnant and that she is pregnant with the child of Mia’s algebra teacher.

Knowing her mom the way she does, Mia very well knows who will be playing the major role in getting this pregnancy thing going.

But it is not just the extra burden of work that Mia is worried about. What is actually driving her insanely mad is the fact that the current circumstances will add further fuel to the wild rumours and news been circulating about her ever since she has been discovered as Genovia’s next royal princess.

But amidst all this chaos is yet another thing which is driving Mia crazy. The fact that somebody is writing her secret admiring letters is not a relief when she has absolutely no way to figure out who that admirer is.

As a result, she is perpetually perplexed about the sender (secretly wishing it to be her best friend Lily’s brother Michael) and is finding it really difficult to get her normal life back on track.

So what will happen to Mia? Will she be able to unmask her secret admirer? Will her secret admirer be Michael and if yes, will he ever step out in the front? And how will Mia manage to hide her mom’s newfound involvement with her algebra teacher? Will she again land up on the hit list of media buffs and tabloid reporters?

Discover this and much more in this tantalising sequel to the Princess Diaries # 1 – The Princess Diaries: Take Two.

What I probably liked the most about this book was the seamless progress of the plot from princess issues in the first book to secret admirer fancy in the second.

The humour is even better than the first one and at no point I found myself losing interest in the book. Thus, I recommend The Princess Diaries: Take Two as a must-read to all my readers for it is surely chick-lit fun and frolic at its best.
