What is the storyline?

Romance is a genre which will never go out of fashion.

There are always readers who enjoy reading about love blooming and blossoming into eternal love stories.

“Mesmerising Aura of Love” is a book which not just tells us a love story but also a story which speaks of friendships and family.

The love story of Bubble (aka Sonia) and Bunny (aka Roshan) begins with a chance encounter. Sonia is being harassed by a couple of roadster rowdies when Roshan’s car stops and Roshan saves her from the goons.

There begins a love which is beautiful, unconditional and irrevocable. The love blossoms slowly as they start meeting and seeing each other often. But fate has a very different end planned for their love saga.

So, what does fate have in store for them? Will their love conquer all the challenges that life will throw their way?

To know this and much more, read this innocent tale of love and friendship.

The plot of the book

The plot of the book is nothing extraordinary. The first part is rather simple and the story mostly revolves around the college life of the couple.

There are some twists introduced in the end but that itself is not enough to make the plot well balanced and interesting.

Just like many other contemporary romance novels, I found “Mesmerising Aura of Love” to be lacking a decent plot.

How are the characters?

The characters of the book are all interesting. They are people who will find appeal in youngsters – mainly school and college-going readers.

A major part of the book talks about the college life of Bunny and Bubbles and their two close friends Sam and Sejal.

The kind of bond which the four friends share amongst them made me remember my own college gang and those beautiful days of carefree fun and never-ending laughter.

The Writing Style

There are a couple of things which I observed in the writing style.

Firstly, there was an unnecessary use of complicated words in conversations.

For example, in one such sentence, Sam tells Roshan (Bunny) – “You are an unsoiled listener buddy!”.

Another one reads “….and certainly not the manager, he’s a very munificent person.”

It was difficult to digest such sentences in a day to day conversation. Friends don’t talk this way and it was a bit unnatural.

Further, there were a lot of editing mistakes in the book. That further spoiled the reading pleasure.

Was the climax good enough?

The climax turned out to be the best part of “Mesmerising Aura of Love”.

Towards the end, the story takes a rather unexpected turn and that for me was the best part of the book. The end was a bit emotional too.

Thus, the climax gave a befitting end to the story of Bunny and Bubble.

Entertaining, eh?

“Mesmerising Aura of Love” is a dull and ordinary read. It was just like the many other love stories that I read every month.

Though the overall package was decent, it wasn’t unique enough to excite any positive interest.

In my opinion, the book will mainly appeal to young readers who like to read stories of love and friendship and who are just getting into reading English books.
