Dead to Them is the story of Moira Madhwa, who is a young and successful woman who lives in Mumbai. One fine day she goes missing without leaving any clue whatsoever. As the days go by, people start looking for her, but each person who is out there searching for Moira is doing so for his/her own selfish reasons.
In a town which has rarely seen any mishap, two murders in a day arouse suspicions. The responsibility to unravel the mystery behind these two seemingly exclusive incidents falls on the shoulders of Inspector Satyajit. Soon, the clues lead to the very underbelly of organized crimes – a gun club, a business-politics nexus, and much more.
The Seventh Cup has a moderate pace which keeps increasing with each passing chapter. Though quick, it is not difficult to keep up either. It is a fusion of a psychological thriller, suspense thriller and rom-com. It is the humour that holds the story together which is light and touchy.
